Maximum lift capability is 310 foot, adequate for most operations.
There are many factors to providing an accurate response to this question for each situation. Lift, Input power, etc. will all affect individual output. Maximum output is approximately 8.2 gallons/min at surface level. For reference at 140 foot of lift a user can expect approximately 5 gallons/min with 500 watts of input power.
ABSOLUTELY! My pump kits can be easily installed with only basic hand tools. To date, 100% of my customers have completed the installation themselves!
There are a couple of options. Most people with solar well pumps choose to pump to holding tanks like you see in some of my photos, to have a reserve supply of water. Now, there is another option as well! I now offer AC to DC 1000W 36 volt power inverters, housed in a weather resistant housing, so you can operate your Majik Well Pump off of any 120V ac power source... generators, grid power, etc. It's a good option to have on standby for an emergency!
Buyers will need to provide solar panels, pipe, and wire to depth. I keep a list of reputable places to purchase solar panels if needed. For depths up to 175 feet, I recommend 2x250 watt solar panels. For depths from 175 - 300 foot, I recommend 3x250 watt panels for a total of 750 watts.
